After some time spent as a Nursing Assistant followed by schooling for Visual Communications & Design, I am taking a break and working as a full time Nanny. It is such an amazing opportunity to enjoy my life while making a living. It is also giving me the chance to discover what it is I truly want to do as a "grown up". I’ve discovered being creative makes me happiest, so I have been doing a whole lot of it! Working with a “blank canvas” I have a love for the positive, faking in it's absence, and making the best out of what I can. It's not usually very hard surrounded by my amazing friends, family, and Boyfriend of 4 years, Jordan.
My mom recently got married and moved to Sequim with her husband Brad. I now rent our happy little home from our landlord and neighbor, my Grandma Barbabra (Bab's as you'll come to know her). My sister and I live there with 2 roommates, Pat, & Jamie. Our house, built by my great grandfather, is 40 something years old and in the process of a facelift. (Not that any 40 year old NEEDS a facelift of course!)
I have been looking for ways to make fabulous out of the forgotten and better out of the beaten up. Remembering to live life along the way!
